Ashlow Airport is a fictional business. This site is a design showcase.

Ashlow Airport

For neighbours

If something was too loud, tell us.

We check it against the airport's movement records and reply within 10 working days. Below are the rules we keep, so you can hold us to them.

How to raise a concern, and what happens next.

  1. Note it down.

The date, the time, where you were, and what you heard. That is what the team needs to find it.

date, time, where you were, what you heard

  2. Tell us.

By phone on 01632 960420, by email to [email protected], or with the short form below. Whichever is easiest.

  3. We check the records.

The team checks the airport's movement records for that date and time.

  4. We reply within 10 working days.

By email or phone, whichever you gave us.

  5. If it was not one of ours, we say so.

Not every aircraft heard near Ashlow is Ashlow's. When the records show it was not, we say so plainly and tell you who to contact instead. You still get a reply within 10 working days.

The short form for a concern

Part of the showcase. This form sends nothing. Nothing you type leaves this page or is saved.

For example, 4 10 2026.

In 24-hour time, such as 21:40.

A street, a village or a landmark. Your full address is not needed.

Such as a low aircraft, a loud engine, or noise at night. A sentence or two is enough.

So we know who to reply to.

Where we should send the reply.

The rules the airport keeps. Hold us to them.

No movements at night

No aircraft arrive or depart between 22:30 and 07:00. Not by extension, not by exception.

No training flights

No flight training and no circuit flying.

Routes away from the town

Departures follow noise preferential routes away from the town and the villages nearby. The drawing shows them.

Ground runs in set hours

Engine ground runs only between 09:00 and 18:00 on weekdays, and only in a set area.

The consultative committee meets four times a year.

Around the table: the town and parish councils, residents' groups and airport users. The minutes are published here.

Flight paths cannot change without public consultation.

The airport cannot change its flight paths on its own. Any change would go through the CAA's airspace change process (CAP1616), with public consultation. No change is proposed.
